I have a three-drawer Snap bean-Happening tool chest that I kept when my Dad passed away. I don't take in a set of keys and I don't love how old IT is, though it moldiness represent at least 30 years old. Until recently every last three drawers gaping and shut without issue. The top and seat drawers still operate just fine, merely the middle one seems to be latched as if one of the others is active. I Don River't cogitate information technology's jam-packed aside anything within. I detected last night that the buttocks drawer doesn't quite close completely on one side, and over again does not appear to be hampered by any contents.

Are there any obvious tricks I can endeavor to non-slave up the middle drawer? Is thither a way of removing the top an underside drawers to sustain a better look inside? Any advice appreciatively received.

Open bottom drawer and dismission from stolon at each broadside and remove, to advance better access to middle drawer from below.

I hope that whole works. Based on the "new thread all but a sprocket wheel" angle grinders, dremmels, hammers, chisels and cut up saws will not help!

Off to Amsterdam for the weekend (with my boys, aged 8 and 12, so the only coffee bean shops we'll be visiting are the ones that serve coffee bean!), and then it'll have to wait till next calendar week.

Make in for that a tool has not got caught in the drawer and is stopping the stolon, I had a screwdriver that did this and shook the tool box several multiplication to at large IT and IT cleared the runner and the draftsman opened.

Spookily, just back from the shed having freed the draftsman by slamming the bottom one shut a couple of times, to find your trace!

Thanks to all for your input.
